The PulseJet Manifesto
Democratization of Immersive Music Videos
Here at PulseJet, we love music so much we want to be inside of it. Music videos were a first good step but they’ve barely evolved since the 80’s. Now, in 2025, the advent of not one but two revolutionary technologies sets the stage for music immersion.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) brings us rapid generation of video and 3D worlds.
Immersive Technologies (XR) Consumer devices in the form of virtual (VR) reality headsets and augmented reality (AR) glasses bring us closer to these worlds and allow us to step into the music.
We live in an incredible time with technology changing faster than ever. PulseJet will lead the way in incredible music experiences for the average consumer.
The PulseJet Approach
We started out bringing incredible fully immersive VR experiences like Björk to Vision Pro and Meta Quest. These worlds are expensive and time consuming to build but AI to the rescue! AI allows any creator to simply describe a scene in a text prompt and produce incredible video imagery or 3D assets.
Delivery Vehicles
To PulseJet, every device is just a delivery vehicle to bring you incredible immersive music experiences. We tailor the experience to make it as good as possible for the device and bandwidth available to you. On mobile phone, you’ll receive a 4K video with spatial sound and you can spin the device around for full 360° viewing. On glasses, you’ll get a heads-up video that plays adjacent to the real world around you. On a VR headset, you’ll get the full immersive experience complete with controller or hands interaction.
Levels of immersion
Tailoring the experience by device allows everyone to experience deeper levels of immersion. If you’re happy with the experience on your iPhone, that’s great, just stay there. But if you want to go deeper, find XR glasses or a headset to immersive yourself in the music and the artist’s full visual vision.
Democratization of Immersive Music Videos
There’s no question that music has been democratized. Even before AI, anyone with a $2,000 laptop and $200 of software could make and publish music. The price of music videos has dropped dramatically from $1M+ when MTV started to <$10K today. PulseJet aims to further democratize music videos so that anyone, from their living room, can make a rich immersive experience.
Why all artists will use AI eventually
We predict the Techlash against AI will be over soon. The biggest objectino was rights management and rightfully so. AI companies need to pay proper royalties to the source material and to ‘participating’ artists. This is being sorted out now and AI music industry leaders like Suno have inked agreements with Warner and Universal.Others will follow suit.
Aside from that, quality is a major concern but AI quality is quickly reaching levels indistinguishable from real video.
With those problems resolved, AI simply allows the artist to express their vision an 10-100x faster than other methods. We see many major artists using it already, for storyboarding purposes at least and we believe (almost) all major artists will use it eventually.
Beyond the constraints of cameras
One of the exciting things about our platform is that it allows creators to use traditional video capture while combining it with AI and CG visuals. This is incredibly exciting and powerful in the hands of directors and cinematographers who, until now, have been constrained by physical and often budget limitations of shooting expensive films.
Support the Artist
Artists should be able to control and monetize their music, plain and simple. PulseJet gives artists a way to match their music with incredible immersive visual experiences and make money off it. PulseJet visual albums are published and sold across platforms much like Spotify or Apple Music.
Humans vs Bots
As AI proves itself extremely capable, we’re truly in an era of Humans vs Bots. PulseJet welcomes both bots and humans to the platform and we challenge humans to step up! If you’re more creative and heartfelt than an AI engine then show us your best! PulseJet fully supports ‘traditional’ 4K and 360° formats so you can publish no matter what tools you use.
Like a Game Studio
PulseJet operates much like a game studio and so often in the music industry we hear “music needs to be more like games!” Platforms like Roblox and Fortnight are taking off with interactive capability that make the experience more interesting.
AI is revolutionizing the entire 3D tool space from world creation to object rigging and manipulation. As these tools become accessible for the general artist, we will make them available to our customers for rich content creation. We use tools internally like Blender, Meshy, Unity, and Cinema4D to make amazing experiences. Soon and over time, we’ll be making rich 3D content creation tools available to everyone!
Call to Action
We’re looking for artists with rich visual vision to accompany their music. Start with a 6-frame storyboard, then reach out to PulseJet to learn how to turn it into an incredible immersive music experience!
